昨日はほんとうに暑くて、野ざらしにされた犬のように大量の水を飲んだ。

夏はガーターベルトできちんとストッキングを穿くと涼しい。涼しいのは、ナイロンに覆われる面積が減るからというより、足さばきの所作が変わって凛となることが涼やかな心持ちにさせるのかもしれない。ガーター装着というのは、建築や構造体に興味がある人間にはなかなか理想的な、線でアルゴリズムを越えて湾曲する曲面を区切っていく作業で、自らの身体を使ってアーキテクト気分が味わえる。脚の形やまっすぐさ、太ももの張りや足首の細さといったものは普段もチェックできる部位だが、ヒップラインやその形状は、外部からの線を導入することではじめて形どられ意識化される。
